Kazi Women Foundation (KWF) was established in 2023 as a local initiative that brings together Women and Girls to co create solutions to the challenges in their lvies. This was after the COVID-19 pandemic had numerous effects on women and girls from school dropouts, early pregnancy, increased sexual and gender based violence and food crisis for families. Kazi – A Swahili word meaning work was purposefully selected to reflect the hard and amazing work that women do but what needs to be done to make the lives of women and girls what it should be.
